Il Nintendo Direct E3 2019 si è concluso con un breve teaser, un annuncio inatteso che ha esaltato i fan di tutto il mondo. La Casa di Kyoto ha infatti comunicato che il sequel di The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild è attualmente in fase di sviluppo.
I videogiochi di Nintendo generalmente hanno vari episodi, raramente sequel diretti, ma Breath of the Wild è stato un titolo che ha incantato i fan ed esaltato la critica, sarebbe stato imperdonabile non sfruttare un engine disponibile per riportare tutti nel fantastico mondo di Hyrule.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ha fatto il suo esordio a marzo 2017 come titolo forte per il lancio della console ibrida Nintendo Switch ed è oggi considerato il miglior Zelda di sempre, oltre a essere uno dei videogame più importanti per l’attuale generazione di console.
Non è stata indicata una data di lancio per Breath of the Wild 2 e, salvo altre clamorose sorprese, attenderemo a lungo la sua uscita. Come consolazione, il 20 settembre, sarà invece disponibile The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, in contemporanea con il gioco sarà commercializzato un nuovo Amiibo di Link nel nuovo stile artistico.

E3: Nintendo surprisingly announces a sequel to The Legenda of Zelda: Breath of the Wild videogame

At the end of a substantial Nintendo Direct, rich of confirmations and announcements, a teaser has bewildered fans from all over the world.

Nintendo Direct E3 2019 ended with a brief teaser, an unexpected announcement that has exhilarated fans from all over the world. The Kyoto-based Company has proclaimed that a sequel of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is currently under development.
Nintendo games usually run in episodes, though rarely in direct sequels, but Breath of the Wild is a title that has beguiled fans and won critical acclaim, and it would have been unforgivable not to employ the already-available engine to take everyone back to the magical world of Hyrule.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's debuted in March 2017, a strong title to launch the hybrid console Switch, and is today recognised as the best ever Zelda, as well as one of the most important games for current generation consoles.
A launch date for Breath of the Wild 2 was not given and, barring other resounding surprises, we will be awaiting its arrival for a long time. As a consolation, on 20 September The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening will become available and a new Amiibo Link, in the new art style, will be marketed with the game.
